Week’s Worth of Writing

As for Wednesday's event at Meat Market, I stopped by for cocktails and grabbed myself two personally-signed copies of Ingrid's book, one in English (for my mom) and one in Spanish (for me.) I've been using a lot of my Spanish at work these days and am getting pretty good at carrying on conversations with non-english speaking restaurant managers.

Been spending a lot of time at the New Times office lately, hitting the phones, filing food posts for Short Order, engaging in lively discussion with my editor and the always clever and entertaining staff.   Have some good stuff in the pipeline for next week, but in case you didn’t catch this week’s posts, here’s a wrap-up:

Monday: Publix 911

Tuesday: It’s a Mango Tango for Brasel, Hoffmann

Wednesday: Fast Times for $15 at Fratelli Lyon

Friday: Dudhi for Din Din and Wine and Spirits in Miami: A Roundup
